Did Kanye West Hint at His Love for Kim Kardashian Back in 2009? (VIDEO)
It turns out Kanye West may have been dropping hints about his undying love for Kim Kardashian since as far back as 2009.
While the rapper directly referenced his reality star girlfriend in the hit song “Cold” back in March, sources “extremely close” to Kanye tell TMZ that he declared his love for Kim K three years ago, but we were all just too “dumb” to notice.
The insider says that the “Mercy” hitmaker made several discrete references about Kim in his past raps, including verses he contributed to Keri Hilson’s 2009 song “Knock You Down” hinting at the reality star’s relationship with her then-boyfriend, NFL star Reggie Bush.
“You was always the cheerleader of my dreams / To seem to only date the head of the football teams / And I was the class clown that always kept you laughing / We were never meant to be, baby we just happened,” Kanye says in the track.
“You should leave your boyfriend now,” Kanye raps later in the song.
Sounds like this relationship was a longtime coming!
