The Kardashians visit Good Morning America in Times Square on September 7, 2011.
File this under: totally predictable. Forget the fact that she just got hitched, celebutante Kim Kardashian is already back to work, and her latest project involves — what else? — reality TV! The queen of the reality realm is set to be executive producer of the new The Pussycat Dolls reality show, which will showcase the launch of a new generation of glammed-up dolls. A source tells TMZ that this new generation is “10 times better than the original group.” Anybody else think that still isn’t saying much?
According to TMZ, the newlywed is “very excited” to get started working with “the very best in the business.” TMZ reports: “Kim will work alongside American Idol mastermind Nigel Lythgoe, under his new brand Nigel Lythgoe Productions, to bring the series to life. Other potential producers include Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin and Dr. Laura Berman.”
This isn’t the first time Kim will join forces with the Dolls. The sometimes-shy star, who was recently kicked off stage at a Prince concert for not shaking her famous derriere, performed burlesque with The PCD in 2008 in Vegas. How times can change!
