Oprah Asks the Kardashians if They Would Have Been Famous if They Weren’t Good Looking

The Kardashians are definitely a comely bunch, but would they be the force they are today if they weren’t so good looking?

That’s the question Oprah Winfrey wants answered during her interview with the girls and brother Rob for Oprah’s Next Chapter.

“Well, they’re not, like skinny women,” Rob jokes. “They’re not models here.”

After some initial ribbing from his sisters, they agree that their looks have helped them out. “You have to have this bombshell over here [Kim] and this petite little bundle of joy [Kourtney] and this hunk next to me [Rob]," Khloe says.

Kim adds that her family “helped broaden” the idea of celebrity beauty and now represent Middle Eastern women in the mainstream media.

“I don’t think [our success] would’ve happened if we were all like skinny, pretty models,” Kim says. “I think it has to do with us, the curves, the dark hair.”

Oprah’s two-part interview with the Kardashian family airs this Sunday, June 17, at 8/7c on the Oprah Winfrey Network, while the second part will air next Sunday, June 24, at the same time.
