Ray J is very busy flattering himself these days — the singer says it's because of him that Kim Kardashian is famous.

Ray J, the guy who made a sex tape with the celebutante, says if it wasn't for the tape, Kim wouldn't be where she is today. Please!

“This is how I feel about it: I don't hang with stars, I create stars," he tells Gossiponthis.com. "So you know Kim was created, Cocktail was created and now I'm off to a new project."

The R&B star adds: 'I wish them well, I hope they have major success in their life. They are great girls they got good heads on their shoulders and I want them to be successful and I'm off to the next project.'
