Earlier this month, the cosmos aligned for curvaceous starlet Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West to begin one of the hottest rumored romances of 2012. But not all of the reality mogul’s friends are supportive of this new love match seemingly made in heaven.

We think Kim and Kanye totally make sense — they’re both megastars with no qualms about the spotlight — but some of Kim’s confidants reportedly don’t feel the same. “I just don’t get it,” a source close to the celebutante tells Hollywood Life. “Their relationship is so strange and none of her friends understand what she’s thinking right now. They just are an odd fit.”

Despite her friend’s opposition, Kim seems smitten with the controversial rapper. On April 18, the middle sister K tweeted a sentimental message that seemed to have been directed toward her rumored sweetheart. “Nobu with no boo,” the sexy socialite wrote (FYI, Nobu is a trendy L.A. restaurant). The peeps over at Hollywood Life speculate the piece of poetry was a play on lyrics from Kanye’s 2010 track “See Me Now,” which includes the lyrics, “I might walk in Nobu with no shoes.”

Was the sappy tweet Kim’s way of officially confirming their relationship? If so, here’s to hoping her pals can accept it!
