Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are certainly one of the world’s most famous couples at the moment, and Titanic is arguably one of the world’s greatest romantic films, so what could make more sense than combining the two?

Well, a lot of things probably, but we’re glad that New York artist Paul Fuentes didn’t think so! Fuentes is an store artist and graphic designer at a Whole Foods in Manhattan, and he was tasked with creating a holiday-themed portrait for Valentine’s Day.

Task in hand, Fuentes set out to paint Kanye and Kim as Jack and Rose (Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet) in the film’s famous “I’m flying!” scene, in which the couple stands alone on the prow of the ill-fated 1912 liner.

As with many works of art, the devil is in the details, and the details in this case are truly awesome. Kim’s long dark hair blows in the wind, as does the scarf wrapped around her shoulders. Kanye, perched right behind her, is sporting Jack’s period appropriate threads, with one important addition: His signature shutter shades.

We have to give the artist credit, this genius painting is both hilarious and adorable, but now we’re just imagining Kanye rapping over a sample of “My Heart Will Go On” and our brains will never be the same.
