She’s no Angelina Jolie, but brunette beauty Kim Kardashian is doing her best to give back this holiday season.

In the wake of her divorce filing, Kimmy K cancelled most of her remaining social engagements for 2012. However, the celebutante did leave one thing on her calendar: a charity trip to Haiti with the organization We Advance. According to its website, We Advance is "a movement to advance the health, safety, and well-being of women throughout Haiti."

A source for People says Kim’s “intention was always to take the end of the year to focus on some of the other things that are important to her, and this trip was one.”

While we’re not exactly sure exactly what Kim is up to down there, we do know she has Momager Kris Jenner in tow – which gives us inkling there might be more going on than just charity work. We wouldn’t be surprised if a camera crew accompanied the reality stars on their philanthropic mission.

And while it’s her take-charge mother by her side this trip, the source says it was more Kim’s father, late attorney Robert Kardashian Sr., who “instilled in her and her siblings that every little bit counts.”
