Scott Disick’s party boy reputation may have helped him achieve his current place in the limelight, but it seems that his love of all things in excess may be the downfall for the reality star.
The National Enquirer (via RadarOnline.com) reports that Scott’s partying has gotten so out of hand since the death of his mother, Bonnie, in late October, that girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian is reconsidering the couple’s relationship.
Kourtney, who has two children — Mason, 4, and Penelope, 17 months — with Scott, is livid about his partying and trying to figure out how to get him help before it’s too late.
“Kourtney is beside herself,” says a source for the magazine. “She was giving him time to grieve, but now he’s drinking with a vengeance.”
The couple, who are rumored to be planning a wedding, may not make it down the aisle if Scott’s tailspin continues.
“She wants him back in rehab or going to AA meetings at the very least. They’ve got a wedding to plan for next year and she’s not having it ruined by a drunken groom.”
Always a cautious mom, Kourtney is particularly concerned about the impact Scott’s behavior could have on their little ones.
“Kourtney doesn’t want her kids to have a drunk dad,” adds the Kardashian confidant.
“She’s read up on how it affects kids for the rest of their lives, so she wants to stop this before it gets out of hand.”
