Kris Jenner and son Rob Kardashian are no strangers to overzealous fans, but things got scary for the mother and son on Thursday, when the two became targets of anonymous harassment.
Both Kris and Rob posted screencaps from their phones, which were flooded with calls, texts, and requests to FaceTime, to Instagram on Thursday. Both Kris and Rob begged the callers to stop, although neither has yet revealed how they got the harassment to end.
“And these are just SOME of the face times!!! Look! 17 tries!!! Wait till you see the missed calls and texts who does this???!!!!” Kris lamented. “Can't even use my phone!@robkardashian what should we do? Help!!!!!#stalkerstatus.”
While neither Kris nor Rob seemed to be able to identify the callers, who used two different UK numbers for the prank, two British Instagram users are claiming responsibility for inundating the stars with calls and texts.
“Rob kardashian posted my number. stop calling!!! Lmaoo,” wrote one alleged prankster.
“Hahahaha … [we] are good at quessing FaceTime emails, got the real deal,” added the second self-identified jokester.
This isn’t the first time members of the Kardashian family have had their personal information leaked on the internet. Last spring, Kim Kardashian was among a group of celebrities who had their personal data, including financial information, make public by a group of hackers.
