Kris Jenner Says Reality TV Was The Best Education For Her Kids

Of all the many members of the Kardashian clan, matriarch Kris Jenner is arguably the most divisive. She’s a colorful character all on her own, but on top of that, she’s often accused (and often unfairly) of being a money-grubbing puppet master behind the decisions of her famous daughters Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian.

Things have been even worse with her younger daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who were just kids when Keeping Up With The Kardashians launched in 2007.

Now that these two are teenagers and starting careers and business ventures of their own, Kris is getting flack for pushing them too hard. But from the sound of it, Kris has no regrets about letting her kids grow up on TV.

"We’ve created businesses and a workplace," Kris told The Hollywood Reporter. "It’s so funny that somebody can criticize a show like ours, and yet we employ hundreds of people. And it’s been such a great learning experience for all of my kids. It’s the best education I could offer them."

Just to be clear, Kris, your daughters are still getting an actual education, right? As long as they’re still getting reading, writing and ‘rithmetic, we kind of agree with you. Say what you will about the Kardashians, they are a family full of super-savvy business people, and you don’t grow up in an environment like that without picking up a thing or two.
