Being pregnant with twins while raising four other kids is one challenge, but doing so while your husband has sustained a serious injury in the NFL comes with a whole different set to challenges. Kim Zolciak has all that and more on her plate these days.
Her husband, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, tore his Achilles tendon in a game on September 16, and will be out for the rest of the season. Last week he went through some intensive surgery and Kim was by his side.
“Talk abt being a 'reality show' hubby laid up and I'm very pregnant and can barely walk half the time! This is going to be interesting!” she tweeted on September 22.
The family is currently filming an undisclosed project (that we believe to be Season 2 of Don’t Be Tardy) so this tragedy could play out on our small screens sometime soon.
And as much as Kim’s trying to be strong for her hubby, things aren’t easy for the emotional mommy.
“Trying to be strong for my hubby but Fox just played the footage of him getting injured last week breaks my heart,” she tweeted.
Kim isn’t alone when it comes to having a loved one injured on the field.
“Fox just said 153 NFL players are on IR [injured reserve list]!! What the heck is going on? Crazy!” she tweeted.
We hate to see the Zolciak/Biermann clan so worked up, but hopefully things will get better soon. In fact, Kroy’s already getting to spend more quality time with the family.
Kim Instagrammed an adorable picture with her hubby and holding his son Kash in the air saying, “This little guy keeps daddy smiling #babykash.”
#babykash for the win!
