Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and Wife Welcome First Child! (UPDATE)
Update (September 8, 2014):
It’s a baby boy for Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli Cashiola! According to People, the new parents welcomed their bundle of joy a little earlier than expected on September 7, which caused the group to cancel their Sunday night show at Allegan County Fair in Michigan. But we’re sure fans didn’t mind, after all, there’s a new baby in town!
“So happy to have a healthy baby boy here with us! Cash Van Haywood was born last night,” the band’s Twitter handle announced on September 8. “Mom & Dad are doing great and couldn’t be happier!” Congratulations to Dave and Kelli!
Original story (April 21, 2014):
We’re swooning over the news that Lady Antebellum guitarist Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli Cashiola, are expecting their first child — a baby boy — this September. Now the country crooner has a new love to dance away with his heart.
The couple announced the news on the band’s Facebook page and Twitter account with a sweet and simple, “So excited for a new Baby A on the way in Sept! And it’s a boy!! –Dave and Kelli.” Fans immediately flooded their page with well wishes.
The adorable couple were friends for nearly 6 years before they started dating in 2011. Dave surprised Kelli with a Christmas-time proposal, and they married in a private ceremony on April 14, 2012, at Front Porch Farms in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Lady A singer Hillary Scott tweeted a short and sweet “WOOHOO!!!!!!!!” in response to the news. We couldn't have said it better. Married to Nashville-based drummer Chris Tyrell, Hillary became a first-time mom last summer to her own country cutie, daughter Eisele Kaye Tyrell.
The country trio is currently on their “Take Me Downtown” tour, and we’re betting Hillary’s daughter Eisele will be happy to have some kiddo company on the tour bus. Congratulations to the happy soon-to-be parents. We can't wait to see what an adorable baby these two will make!
