Khloe Kardashian Not Looking Back on Her Marriage: “Live in the Now”
Some people spend months (sometimes years) taking stock of their failed marriages — but don’t look to Khloe Kardashian to be one of them! After months of dragging her heels, Khloe has finally filed for divorce from Lamar Odom and it seems she’s ready to put it in the past and move forward without a single glance back into the past.
“We always seem to forget that everything is so temporary. I mean, yeah okay, it crosses our minds once in a while and we might do something daring and out of our comfort zone but when that moment passes, it gets stored away in the back of our minds and we continue living our lives as if there are plenty of tomorrows waiting for us. We postpone our feelings and words to another day, another week, another month, another year. Everything is temporary. Forever is an empty promise.”
And on that note, Khloe concluded the directive to “live in the now,” which seems to be just what she’s doing these days. As for whether that’s on her own or with rumored new romantic interest Matt Kemp is up for debate. While sources close to her insist Matt is just a good friend, the L.A. Dodgers outfielder has been in her company a lot these days. In fact, he was even among the honored guests at the Kardashians’ over-the-top Christmas Eve bash.
Whether she’s on the rebound or in a “single and loving it” stage, we’re glad to see Khloe taking such a positive, forward-thinking approach to her divorce.
