For many people, a year of tabloid rumors about drug addiction and affairs culminating in the loss of a job and a crumbling marriage would get them running for help, but for Lamar Odom, his mission to get his life back on track may be coming too late.
Since estranged wife Khloe Kardashian kicked him out of their Tarzana home in July and subsequently filed for divorce in mid-December, Lamar seems to have been working harder than ever to get his his professional and personal lives on the up-and-up, although it doesn’t look like he’s still got a ways to go before earning any Brownie points for it.
Being in dire straits (if you can consider anyone worth $50-plus million in dire anything), Lamar has reportedly enlisted the help of a life coach to turn his luck around and potentially help him at least return to the court, if not Khloe’s good graces, in the near future.
“He’s taking a few sessions just to get his head right after all he’s been through with Khloe and his life,” a Kardashian insider tells HollywoodLife. “It’s not for drug abuse or anything, it’s more of a life therapist, someone who he talks to about where he is in his life, where he wants to be and how to get there.”
While we’re sad knowing that Khlo and Lam-Lam’s relationship is past the point of no return, it’s good to hear that Lamar is getting the help he needs.
What do you think of Lamar’s decision to seek help after Khloe’s divorce filing?
