Lamar Odom has had a lot of legal trouble lately but, due to a deal struck with prosecutors, there’s at least one less day in court he’ll have to endure. Rather than stand trial for a vandalism charge stemming from a paparazzi attack in July, Lamar will receive anger management counseling, according to a recent TMZ report.

It’s a good move considering the compelling evidence against Lamar. Back in July, he was caught on camera taking a paparazzo’s gear out of car and chucking it into the street while a car full of people took photos with their phones and iPads. Bizarrely enough, after taking a bunch of the destroyed equipment and stowing it in his car, Lamar was seen taking a photo with a fan before leaving the scene.

A month later, Lamar was charged with a DUI when he was pulled over for erratic driving in the early morning of August 30. As of this time, Lamar has pled not guilty and is still expected to stand trial for that charge later this month.

In addition to the anger management course he’s agreed to in the vandalism case, Lamar will have to pay for the equipment he destroyed and be on his best behavior for at least a year. Any more trouble with the law and he’ll face criminal charges in this case.
