Lance Bass Debuts “Walking on Air,” First New Song in 12 Years
'N Sync fans no longer have to content themselves on the music of Justin Timberlake alone — now his former bandmate Lance Bass is embarking on a solo career, too!
The 34-year-old singer is releasing his first single, "Walking on Air," on iTunes tomorrow, January 21 — though you can stream the full song at E! Newstoday.
The dance track combines Lance's talent with those of Anise K, Bella Blue, and eve Snoop Dogg. (Other versions of the song have already been released in Australia and Belgium.)
"For the last two years I've been listening to demos, just trying to figure out if I want to get back in the studio," Lance divulges to the site. "I hadn't heard anything that resonated with me. But a couple of months ago, a track from Anise K landed in my lap from a friend of mine and he was like, 'I think this will be your first song.'"
"These days songs have to be played in clubs and this is one of those songs that you'll definitely hear in the club," he continues. "I'm sure it will be remixed so many different times."
Good for him! His spaceflight ambitions may not have soared, but we have every hope that the second chapter of his music career will.
