Lauren Bushnell to Newly-Engaged Rachel Lindsay: “Put Your Relationship First”

Lauren Bushnell may have just split from fiancé Ben Higgins three months ago, but she’s already found love again!

The Bachelor 2016 star recently went public with new beau, real estate investor Devin Antin, so clearly she has a leg to stand on when it comes to giving relationship advice.

At least, we think so!

Lauren, for the record, is a little hesitant on sharing her insight with newly-engaged Bachelorette 2017 couple Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo.

“I feel weird giving advice, because, I don't know. I don't know if [Ben and I] did it right or wrong," the 27-year-old tells at JoJo Fletcher, Becca Tilley, and Sole Society's Toast Friends and Fall Fashion event in L.A..

“I think, obviously, if they love each other — which I'm sure they do — obviously you don't get engaged to someone unless you love them and care about them. I would say, continue to put that first,” she continues.

She adds, "Put your relationship first. When it comes to opportunities or anything that comes after the fact, I would say always put your relationship first, would be my No. 1 piece of advice.”

So why didn’t that work for LaurBen?

The Cali-based gal admits she still can’t “pinpoint” the reason for their split, though she knows they were unable to get to the next step of marriage.

"It's just a hard situation when you meet on TV and you get engaged in such a short amount of time," she explains.

“When it came to talking about marriage, it didn't feel completely right.”

She now has a more relaxed look on what a relationship should look like, as she knows you can’t know what tomorrow might bring.

"Sometimes, something might feel right at that moment and then, later on, it might not feel right, and that's life!" she shares.

“Follow your heart. Do what feels right."

For now, that seems to be working in her favor. The Portland, Oregon native, who is currently working on a rosé called Dear Rosé, has turned her pre-Bachelor fame friendship into a romance.

“I think it's such a natural progression to move from friends,” Bachelor Nation pal Becca Tilley details to Us Weekly about Lo’s new man.

She reasons, “I mean, I think it's what you want in a relationship. You want to have that base of a friendship, so yeah, I'm sure it's like a really nice element to have.”

Though Becca admits she hasn’t met Devin since he became her friend’s boyfriend, she was introduced to him as her “friend” in late April.

The 28-year-old recalls, “Actually I met him, but they were friends before, so I met him at Stagecoach and it was very brief. They have been friends for a while, so she introduced him.”

The two have clearly fallen quickly for one another, and an Us Weekly source reveals she already met his family at a Golden State game with his sisters last month.

Just don’t expect them to keep up that pace when it comes to a proposal.

"It's so soon after her last engagement,” Becca says.

“I'm sure she's like, 'Okay, I already did the really fast engagement, maybe I'll enjoy and take my time on this one.' So I don't know.”

Still, they’re at least Instagram official. The former flight attendant shared her first posed couple photo over the weekend.

“Dibs,” she captioned the cute pic.

She also posted a video to her Instagram story, showing the two kissing with some fun filters.

Glad to see her looking so happy. Keep ‘em coming, guys!
