Lauren Cohan Talks Her Walking Dead Fear: “I Don’t Want to Go!” (VIDEO)
Lauren Cohan ( Maggie Greene) is a veteran of The Walking Dead by now, but that doesn’t mean she's any less worried about being killed off each week. The 32-year-old actress was a guest on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last night, March 5, and her fellow guest, Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis, mentioned that people get killed off TWD all the time. Yeah, no kidding!
This promoted Andy, who doesn’t watch the AMC hit, to ask Lauren if she’s afraid of getting killed off. “It comes with the territory,” she replied. “Yeah. I mean it’s what makes the show really thrilling and of course I worry about it. I don’t want to go.”
Maggie has been on the show since Season 2 and it’s certainly possible that she could get the axe at any time, but we would be surprised if she didn’t make it through Season 4, considering we’re still waiting for her to reunite with her fiance Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and/of her little sister Beth Greene (Emily Kinney). We know TWD loves to crush our dreams, but it seems especially cruel to kill of Maggie before she has a chance to reunite with any of her loved ones.
Having said that, we must acknowledge that Maggie, who is currently traveling with Bob Stookey (Larry Gilliard Jr.) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), isn’t exactly in the best position right now. In the sneak peek and promo for this Sunday’s Episode 13 we learn that the trio only has six bullets left. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, we also seem them standing in the woods enveloped by fog as walkers come at them from all different directions. Still, Maggie fans might be relieved to know that Bob is the one who seems to be in trouble, not our girl!
Do you think Maggie will make it out of Season 4 alive? Watch the video and give us your best guess below!
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
