Lea Black’s Husband Hired By Justin Bieber After His DUI, Drag Racing Arrest
Perhaps all Justin Bieber needs is a beauty and a beat Black? The Biebs is in quite a situation these days, following his DUI arrest. Now, Justin has reportedly hired prominent lawyer Roy Black — husband of Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black— to represent him.
People is reporting that Justin has chosen civil and criminal defense trial attorney Roy to help him beat the charges. Roy has a number of high-profile court cases under his belt, as he helped Kennedy family member William Kennedy Smith to get acquitted of rape charges back in 1991.
Other celebrity clients whom Roy has represented over the years include Kelsey Grammer — who was married to former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer — Dancing With the Stars champ Helio Castroneves, Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis — who has also appeared on RHOM — and radio host Rush Limbaugh. Roy married Lea in 1994, and the couple have a son, RJ, together.
Justin was arrested on January 23 in Miami Beach for DUI following a reported drag race and has admitted he was drinking and smoking weed. His blood-alcohol level was reportedly at .04, below the .08 legal limit, although any level above .02 if you're underage in the state of Florida results in getting your license suspended for six months. Justin was also charged with resisting arrest and driving on an expired license.
Do you think hiring Roy was a good decision for Justin? And what do you think will be Justin's punishment for these charges?
