It’s official, Glee fans — Season 5 is in its last day of production! The cast and crew will be able to put another season behind them when filming wraps at the end of the day on the last scene for Season 5, Episode 20 (“The Untitled Rachel Berry Project”). After five years, it must be hard to say goodbye, and Lea Michele (Rachel) is letting us in on how she’s feeling about this big day.
“Last day of #Glee season 5.. I can’t believe how fast this season went by.. I could not have gotten through this year without all of you & you’re endless love & support. I’m so grateful for my cast. They are my family & have held me up through everything,” Lea tweeted.
If you think about it, this year, more than any other year, has been tough for the 27-year-old. After losing boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith last summer, she and the rest of the cast have had to continue on without him — even filming Season 5, Episode 3 (“The Quarterback”) as a tribute to him. Other than that, her character has made it big this season, starring in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl. Now it seems she might be trading that in for a TV career.
Lea must have been feeling very thankful today, because she even went as far as thinking the people behind the scenes, specifically.
“A big thank you to @alxanders & @AdamAnders for making us always sound amazing! Love you guys! Can’t wait for next season!” Lea continued. “And of course @MrRPMurphy & @BFalchuk thank you for bringing this amazing show into our lives, & for creating such a beautiful season.”
What are we going to do without new episode of Glee? Please star in everything, Lea!
