Jonathan sadly hasn't been on Glee in a while, but we luckily get to see him — and those gorgeous locks of his — on our TVs soon, as his new show Looking premieres this Sunday, January 19, at 10:30 p.m. on HBO. The show centers on three gay friends living in San Francisco.
The show had its premiere at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood on January 15, which was attended by The New Normal's Andrew Rannells — who is also part of the HBO family, starring on Girls — and Cheyenne Jackson, who played scary Vocal Adrenaline coach Dustin Goolsby on Glee.
Also in attendance was of course Lea, as she and J-Groff are each other's biggest fans, dating back to their time sharing the Spring Awakening stage. Lea posted a pic to Twitter on January 15 of herself smiling next to Jonathan on the Looking premiere's red carpet.
"At the premiere of @LookingHBO tonight w/ Jonathan Groff!" Lea captions the shot. "Got to see the episodes and the show is AMAZING! #soproud." Aww!
Between this and the massive success of Frozen, Jonathan is on fire lately! We can't wait to see Looking — and if he manages to find time to drop by Glee one of these days, we certainly wouldn't complain about that either.
