Pucker up, Lea Michele (Rachel)! The Glee star found herself in the middle of a kiss sandwich on Monday, when she received an impromptu smooch on both cheeks by two of her former co-stars.

It all went down at the New York City reunion of Broadway’s Spring Awakening on November 2. The cast of the Tony Award-winning 2006 musical reunited at NYC’s Atlantic Theater Company, where Lea received a kiss from her love interest in the play, Jonathan Groff (Glee’s Jesse St. James), and their co-star John Gallagher, Jr.

Jonathan and Lea, who starred in the musical as lovers Melchoir and Wendla, have stayed close friends in the time since. They’re the best of buds, with Jonathan rushing to Lea’s side the moment he heard about her boyfriend Cory Monteith's passing back in July.

Jonathan is currently filming Looking, a new HBO dramedy about single gay men looking for love in San Francisco. He also voices the part of Kristoff in Disney’s smash hit Frozen. John plays Jim Harper on HBO’s The Newsroom.

Lea shared a photo of her own from the Spring Awakening gathering. “Reunion with the original #SpringAwakening cast tonight at the @AtlanticTheater. So good seeing everyone! #SA,” she tweeted.

Her former co-star Phoebe Strole, who currently plays Sam’s (Chord Overstreet) love interest, Penny, on Glee, can also be seen in the pic (on stage, second from left). Noticeably absent is cast member Skylar Astin. Not sure why he missed the event but we would have loved to have seen him, too. Maybe Skylar could have given Lea a kiss on the top of her head? Talk about a love triangle!
