Not only do Leah and Corey stay civil in front of their kiddos, meet up for dinners and coffees to chat about their daughter Ali's medical condition, and even talk over the phone. Sure, they have a set custody schedule (looks like these two divide their time with Ali and Aleeah pretty evenly), but even that is flexible depending on how the girls feel!
Leah took to Twitter to explain that she prioritizes her daughters' feelings over her own, and admitted that she has no problem letting them see their pop — even when it's technically her day.
"I believe if your [sic] a good parent then when a child asks for the other parent you will let that child go and not force him/her or them to stay," Leah explained.
It certainly helps that Leah and Corey have so much mutual respect for each other, but how amazing is it that Leah's able to put her kiddo's first — even if it means losing out on time with them?!
This West Virginia Mountain Momma has morphed into such a great mom, y'all! You know, other than that one time she let Ali and Aleeah eat cheesepuffs off the floor...
