Ali was recently diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy, which means her muscles aren't developing at a normal rate. It also means that she could develop respiratory difficulties and heart problems, not to mention loss of muscle strength.
While Ali's condition definitely affects her day-to-day life, Leah and her ex-husband, Corey Simms, try their hardest to make sure their daughter engages in normal childhood activities, like running, playing, and even gymnastics. And the latest? Ali's learned to ride a "big kid" bike, just like her sister, Aleeah!
Corey shared a photo of his twins proudly showing off their sweet new rides on Twitter along with the caption, "Big girl bikes."
We can't wait to see Ali ride hers around the backwoods of West Virginia. This adorable gal's perseverance and strength is truly remarkable!
