LeAnn Rimes Talks Brandi Glanville on The View: It’s Gone on Too Long
Is LeAnn Rimes over her feud with Brandi Glanville? It certainly sounded that way when the singer appeared on The View to promote her new album, Spitfire.
Barbara Walters interviewed the 30-year-old country crooner, who’s married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. The two ladies have fought publically over Twitter about a variety of issues, and Barbara wanted some details. “Your husband’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville has been critical of you,” the host said.
“Talkative,” LeAnn corrected Barbara, euphemistically. “I am glad the conversation is changing,” she said of people focusing on her music instead of her personal life.
LeAnn went on to discuss her new songs, saying, “I’ve been in this business for 20 years and for the first time I am approaching music differently, from a human perspective. People know me for my voice but they’ve never really gotten to know me.”
After saying, “I definitely take my responsibility for this side of things,” LeAnn told Barbara, “I definitely think it has been a very skewed version of this story and it has gone on for far too long. This album was written two and a half years ago and I am approaching real emotions, it’s not just the situation.”
That was good enough for The View ladies, and Barbara declared she wouldn’t ask LeAnn another question about Brandi.
Is this a temporary truce, or is the Brandi-LeAnn feud done for good?
