Juan Pablo Galavis is a proud resident of Miami, and we’ve always thought that whomever he chooses on The Bachelor 2014 will have to up and relocate to his south Florida home. But in a new interview, JPG says that living in the city where the heat is on isn’t necessarily his life plan. So, what is, then?
“On the moving part, I don’t like Miami!” the Ithaca, New York-born, Venezuela-raised fella says of the place he’s called home for the last several years. “I don't like Miami. I don't know where, you know, how they say that that I want to move, you know, I don't like Miami that much. I don't like the weather. So and I travel a lot, that's why to me base is Miami but I travel a lot,” he explains, sort of.
OK, that doesn’t make a lot of sense, so we’re thinking something must’ve gotten lost in translation. Because, really? The weather in Miami is perfect for the shirtless activities we see him engaging in every single day on his Twitter and Instagram feeds. But the music and sports consultant does tend to make the rounds in the U.S.A. and abroad quite frequently, so it seems like he’s sincere in saying he’d pick up and peace out of Miami if the right girl came along and didn’t want to live in a city Will Smith wrote about so fondly.
When it comes to more kids and a career, the single dad explains that he wants kids but he’s pretty flexible about a timeline. As for Miami, Juan Pablo, he further says he’ll “do whatever.” He expands a little, explaining, “I have to find somewhere that it can be easier for me to do what I do for a living and maybe for that person, what she does for a living too. It’s got to be a conversation and a couple’s decision at the end of the day.”
Who knew he had such wisdom to spout when he isn’t posting Instagram selfies of himself singing Backstreet boys songs?
