While the on-camera action on Real Housewives of New Jersey may be nearly non-stop mayhem, behind the scenes, things are cool, calm, and collected.
Dina Manzo’s 18-year-old daughter, Lexi, posted a photo to Instagram of an RHoNJ cameraman doing the traditional tree yoga pose, along with the caption, “Zen on set today.”
Although, with the constantly rotating cast members, divorces, and criminal allegations among the housewives, the Real Housewives’ homes may not seem like particularly Zen places, Dina has been making an effort to become buddies with Buddha, a belief system that’s spilled over into her home decor.
Dina, who describes herself on Twitter as a “nice Catholic girl in search of Buddha,” has made her belief in a higher power pretty clear, with statues of the spiritual leader scattered throughout her New Jersey home.
It seems as though it’s probably a good thing that Dina, Lexi, and even the members of the RHoNJ crew are feeling so at one with the world, because things are about to get shaken up for the tight-knit mother and daughter.
Dina’s branch of the Manzo family, who have taken a brief break from the hit reality franchise to focus on other projects, are returning to the small screen full-time for the show’s sixth season and a returning housewife can only mean one thing — lots of drama.
