Khloe Kardashian Talks Life in the Spotlight: Sometimes You Want to “Lock Yourself in a Room”

While lots of celebrities complain about being followed around with cameras all day long, it’s actually part of Khloe Kardashian’s job — but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get tired of it.

While promoting the launch of the Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy in London, Khloe told E! News that even she needs a break from the constant cameras.

“I think everyone needs some me time,” she said. “But with our show, we’ve been filming with the same camera crew for so long that they’re like family. And it’s weird because they are also like a comfort zone for me, the people. But not everything, I believe.”

Even if the camera crew who shoot Keeping Up With the Kardashians are like family, we don’t blame Khloe from needing some time to herself.

“Sometimes you’re like, ‘I just don’t want to be bothered by anyone,’ not even a girlfriend,” she said. “Sometimes you really just want to lock yourself in a room and have your personal space.”

This isn’t the first time Khloe has expressed a desire to hide from the spotlight. In the midst of her marital drama with Lamar Odom, the reality TV star seemed to reach her wit’s end with the paparazzi, saying she felt like she needed therapy because of their constant presence.

Thankfully, Khloe’s family knows just what she’s going through and the Kardashian sister says she never forgets about the support from her fans.

“It really is such a blessing just to feel that you have such a good support system, no matter what you’re going through, even in good times,” she said. “It’s so awesome to see people that root for you even if you don’t know them.”
