Lil Wayne and Young Money Defend Justin Bieber Amid Racist Videos

Justin Bieber may have said racist things years ago, but that doesn't mean he's a racist person. At least, that's the stance that Young Money Entertainment and its big names are taking.

In case you missed it — and we're not really sure how you could have! — Justin has had to apologize twice this week after two videos came out within days of each other, both showing a much-younger Justin making extremely racist jokes.

Now, Young Money president Mack Maine, a recording artist in his own right, tells TMZ that everyone at the label, including high-profile acts Birdman and Lil Wayne, have had a ton of facetime with the 20-year-old singer and haven't gotten the slightest whiff that he's racist.

"Bieber does not have a slave mentality," Mack says. "He treats his people with respect."

Furthermore, the rapper tells the site Justin has "legitimately adopted the culture of the hip hop, African American culture."

Mack even admits that he used to tell jokes just as racist as the ones Justin told when he was that age.

What do you think? Is Justin just someone who made a mistake? Or should we be concerned? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
