Lindsay Lohan’s Parents Banned From Her Oprah Show — Report
Lindsay Lohan’s reality show on Oprah’s OWN channel has lost two fans already — and the show won’t even hit the air until next year.
TMZ reports that, after careful consideration, producers have chosen to keep Lindsay’s parents, Michael and Dina, from appearing on the reality project.
While at first, many working on the show were hoping to use Lindsay’s family drama as a welcome juxtaposition to the sober, slightly less chaotic life Lindsay's living now, the decision makers at OWN decided that it’s best for both LiLo and the audience if they keep the “Lohan family circus” off-air.
Despite being a source of amusement — and profound, bottomless sadness — between Michael’s multiple arrests, cheating scandals, and interviews given at the expense of his famous daughter, and Dina’s “cool mom” act (now complete with DWI arrest), we’re pretty glad these trainwrecks won’t be seeing more airtime. We’ve all seen how well “Living Lohan” worked out.
Lindsay’s blissfully parent-free eight-part miniseries will cover are the harsh realities faced by the former Disney star as she tries to get her life back on track following her most recent rehab stint.
