Remember Lindsay Lohan’s infamous 36-name-long list of her reported celebrity hookups? Well, among the slew of star-studded (and somewhat surprising) names — from Joaquin Phoenix, Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, to Adam Levine — James Franco is the first of the reported lovers to publicly dismiss Lindsay’s claims.
In a recent interview with Los Angeles Magazine, the 35-year-old actor discussed his latest poetry book, Directing Herbert White, and the few celebrities he wrote about, including Lindsay. "I didn't write anything bad about them," says James. "And Lindsay herself has told lies about me with her people-she's-slept-with list! So I feel like what I said is much less than what she's said."
This isn’t the first time James has ever denied being romantically involved with Lindsay. Back in 2012, Howard Stern asked James whether or not he turned down sex with the trouble starlet during his SiriusXM radio show. James’s response? “Oh, gosh. Poor Lindsay. I haven’t talked to her in a while … We were friends.”
While Lindsay has remained tight-lipped over the release of her supposed conquest list, it seems to get bigger with each passing day. Just last week, more names were revealed — including Ashton Kutcher, Orlando Bloom, and Ryan Phillippe — but now we’re not so sure if we believe Lindsay, especially after James’s recent dispute.
Lindsay’s list was initially released by InTouch, and according to the magazine, she personally penned the names of her celebrity lovers while goofing around with friends. In a classic move, Lindsay accidently left it behind at the Beverly Hills Hotel in January 2013 and the rest is (public) history. Oh Lindsay, you should have known better than that!
