Lisa Vanderpump Defends Bringing Up Cheating Rumors About Kyle Richards’s Family
In the promo for next week's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 4 Reunion Part 3, we see Mauricio Umansky and Ken Todd exchange heated words. The two guys are debating the joke Lisa Vanderpump made in front of Kyle Richards and Mauricio's young daughter Portia about rumors that Mauricio cheated. Now, Lisa shares how Kyle should have reacted to the joke.
On March 20, Lisa writes on Twitter that Kyle should have known that Lisa's comment about the infidelity rumors was just a joke. "One doesn't need to put others down in order to make yourself look good," Lisa tweets. "True friends, smart friends understand when the intent is humor."
One of Lisa's Twitter followers replies that Kyle should have laughed about Lisa's comment and said "something witty back." And Lisa appreciates this, responding with: "Exactly... confront it and discredit it."
So Lisa apparently does not regret making that joke about the cheating rumors in front of Portia. And she also appears to be implying that Kyle isn't "smart." But given that Lisa sometimes has a hard time laughing when other people make cracks at her expense — the fainting jokes come to mind — we wonder whether Lisa would really feel this way if her marriage was the one being joked about.
Do you think Lisa makes a good point? Or is she not appreciating Kyle's point of view?
