Lisa Vanderpump Offers $40K to Settle $5M Sexual Harassment Case? Report

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’s Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd just can’t catch a break from the lawsuits.

This latest suit update is in connection to a case that’s now been going on for almost two years, and concerns allegations of sexual harassment from a manager to a waitress at one of Lisa and Todd’s restaurants.

In October 2012, TMZ first shared details on a lawsuit filed by a waitress who used to work at Villa Blanca. Karina Bustillos claims the restaurant manager, Michael Govia, tried to kiss her, called her a “b-tch” and a “c--t,” and grabbed and twisted her wrists. She claims Lisa wouldn't listen to the allegations, and she sued Lisa, Ken, the restaurant, and Michael for $5 million, saying she was forced to quit her job. At the time, Lisa told TMZ, "The waitress had a falling out with a manager. Of course I take that seriously. We've looked at all the cameras and there's no sexual harassment. ... This is just a disgruntled employee."

But now it's Sunday, April 13, 2014, and TMZ said the trial begins on Monday. Karina may have filed a $5M lawsuit for sexual assault and battery, but the site says Lisa just countered with a settlement offer of $40,001. It's not clear how either side came up with their numbers, but TMZ said Karina has until Monday to accept the offer.

It’s hard to know what to think about all of this, without being there, seeing the footage, and knowing the people involved. It’s never OK to lay hands on an employee (or co-worker) but five meeelllion dollars also sounds like a lot...
