Lisa Vanderpump Explains Why She Had Issues With Kyle’s Ring

Things got tense on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week when Kyle Richards wanted Carlton Gebbia to have a ring, and Lisa Vanderpump pointed out that it didn't quite match the necklace Kyle had given Carlton. Now, Lisa explains why she got involved.

"I honestly felt that Kyle initially offering the necklace was some sort of peace offering," Lisa writes in her Bravo blog. "But when a ring appeared, I didn't quite understand the connection between a blue skull and a gold ring." C'mon, Lisa let Kyle give Carlton a gift if she wants to!

"I had previously tried to placate Carlton at her event with regard to Kyle, but after seeing just how badly the anti-Semitic remark had affected her, I understood it was a precarious situation that required a deeper conversation," Lisa continues. "I like Carlton so very much, and I know how traumatized she had been by the accusation — and I don't think a ring would fix it." Well, it certainly won't fix things now.

Lisa wishes that Brandi hadn't quickly told Kyle what Lisa said about the ring. "Again, it's confusing as to why Brandi felt the need to run to Kyle to try to create a rift between us," she says, pointing out that Brandi recently admitted to feeling "jealous" of Kyle and Lisa's friendship. Why can't everyone just be friends with everyone else? There's no need for jealousy, people!

Lisa points out that she doesn't appreciate Yolanda's comments about her in the episode, and Lisa says she only feels that two current cast members have her back. "I thank Carlton and Joyce for being so supportive," Lisa writes. Wait, so Lisa doesn't currently feel that Kyle supports her? Frankly, we can't keep up with where Kyle and Lisa's friendship is at on any given day.

Do you think Lisa was right to intervene in the ring situation?
