It's no secret that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is an animal lover, as Giggy would surely attest. But it appears that her Villa Blanca restaurant may have gotten some unwanted animal visitors recently.
Radar Online reports that Lisa and husband Ken Todd's Beverly Hills eatery received five health code violations during its latest inspection on February 2. The restaurant earned a 90 rating, which still qualifies as an "A," but the rating is below the 91 that the restaurant scored on an inspection in October 2013.
The most startling violation that Villa Blanca has reportedly been hit with is for "rodents, insects, birds, or animals." Yikes. Then again, it certainly is no easy task to keep pests from getting into a restaurant. And by "pests," we're not referring to the staff of SUR, just so you know.
Other violations are for not maintaining "proper hot and cold holding temperatures" and for inadequate handwashing facilities. Villa Blanca had reportedly been shut down for three days following health code violations in September 2013.
For her part, Lisa addressed the issues on Twitter. "Old news," Lisa tweets on March 17. "Villa Blanca had a ventilation problem last September. We continue to have an A with the health department."
What do you feel about Villa Blanca's reported health code violations?
