Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump's legal drama continues — and now it's taking a weird turn. Indeed, Lisa is being sued by a former employee who is making very strange demands.
Former Villa Blanca manager Karina Bustillos is suing Lisa for $5 million for alleged sexual harassment. Lisa reportedly offered Karina a $40,000 settlement earlier this month, and Karina has since responded with a counteroffer.
According to TMZ, Karina is willing to accept the $40K settlement, provided that Lisa promises to make significant changes to Villa Blanca. Among the changes that Karina wants enacted are that Villa Blanca stop serving catfish and claiming it's the pricier tilapia, stop serving canned fruits and vegetables and calling them fresh, and order the kitchen staff to frequently wash their hands. Yikes.
As you can imagine, Lisa isn't pleased by this development. She calls the lawsuit "frivolous and a clear case of malicious prosecution." Meanwhile, this isn't the only lawsuit that Lisa and husband Ken Todd are dealing with. Ken is being sued by two construction workers who claim that Ken attacked them.
We admire Lisa and Ken for remaining so strong during this tough time, and we hope that the truth will ultimately come out.
What do you feel about Karina's demands?
