Drama is still being served in this lawsuit against Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd. A former waitress at Villa Blanca, Karina Bustillos, is suing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars, alleging sexual harassment by the restaurant manager.

According to RadarOnline, a trial is scheduled to begin on May 27, and new court documents show an objection from Karina’s lawyers to Lisa’s decision to call Scheana Marie Jancan as a character witness.

The Vanderpump Rules star works at both SUR and Villa Blanca, but legal docs allege that Scheana “never witnessed any incident involving Ms. Bustillos” so they object to having her be “called to provide improper character evidence and possible inadmissible good character evidence with respect to the defendants,” since that would be “inadmissible under the evidence code.” Karina’s lawyers also objected to Lisa’s plan to call several other Villa Blanca staffers to testify, because they “were not identified as a witness in discovery."

We’ll have to wait and see what is allowed at the trial.

Here’s a little bit of background: In October 2012, TMZ first shared details on the lawsuit. Karina claims the restaurant manager, Michael Govia, tried to kiss her, called her a “b-tch” and a “c--t,” and grabbed and twisted her wrists. She claims Lisa wouldn't listen to the allegations, and she sued Lisa, Ken, the restaurant, and Michael for $5 million, saying she was forced to quit her job. At the time, Lisa told TMZ,  "The waitress had a falling out with a manager.  Of course I take that seriously.  We've looked at all the cameras and there's no sexual harassment. ... This is just a disgruntled employee."

Things got weird in late April of this year, when Lisa reportedly offered Karina a $40,000 settlement and Karina responded with a counteroffer. According to TMZ, Karina said she would be willing to accept the $40K settlement, provided Lisa promised to make significant changes to Villa Blanca, including odd things like to stop serving canned fruits and vegetables and calling them fresh. Lisa called the lawsuit "frivolous and a clear case of malicious prosecution."

It may be clear to Lisa, but we’ll have to see what the court has to say. Good luck!
