Wow, this is kinda embarrassing, you guys. According to Reality Tea, when a restaurant in Montclair, New Jersey decided to advertise on Facebook that The Real Housewives of New Jersey would be filming a few scenes there, they got plenty of attention from their followers, but not the kind they were hoping for. People were downright disturbed by the idea of the Housewives dining in their local joint.
Reality Tea reports that The Fresco Montclair posted a status letting people know that both Dina Manzo and Teresa Giudice would be eating at their establishment. It didn't take long for the post to be flooded with comments, most of them from upset customers.
Since then, the restaurant removed the post, possibly heeding the advice of one of its fans.
"I don't know if this will be good advertisement Fresco…I would delete this," the patron wrote, per Reality Tea.
Another Jerseyite commented, "That makes me not want to go to the restaurant." Ouch.
But, not everyone was a negative Nancy about the situation. One half-glass-full type wrote, "Any advertising is good advertising … Fresco doesn't have to agree with what RHONJ does. They serve up great food and that's great 'celebs' want to eat there, no matter who they are!"
Considering that Teresa is most famous for her outrageous table-flipping incident, we're not that surprised that people don't feel like dealing with that when they're trying to enjoy a meal. Although, personally, we would love a front row seat for that level of entertainment!
