Pretty Little Liars Logic Fails: Season 4, Episode 7: “Crash and Burn, Girl!”
Rosewood isn't exactly a normal world, what with the all murder, stalkers, and big bad secrets. It's a heightened universe, and that's part of the fun. Even with that in mind, there are occasionally moments on Pretty Little Liars that make us stop and say, "Really?" Sometimes it's something that doesn't make sense from the writers, and, more often, it's just that we want to reach through our TV and smack the characters upside the head for making bad choices.
Here are our picks of the biggest logic fails and most WTF moments from Season 4, Episode 7: "Crash and Burn, Girl!"
Mike's defense: When Aria started hinting she thought Mike was the one who destroyed Connor's car, he defended himself by saying that he plays lacrosse, which is played with "a tiny little stick," not something strong enough to damage a car. Which ... is a pretty nonsensical defense. We're pretty sure lacrosse players are perfectly capable of finding and wielding heaving metal objects. It seems like he really didn't do it, but that doesn't make this defense any less ridiculous.
Caleb and Toby talking to Nigel: Dear Toby and Caleb, you are smart boys. So why were you so damn obvious while talking to Nigel about the flight? Haven't you learned the first lesson of Rosewood: Trust no one?
Emily failing to return the key the first time around: We get why Em stole the key to Wilden's apartment; the risk seemed worth it. But really, Em? You hear your mom's boss talking about how if they don't find that key soon... and you don't find a way to drop it somewhere where it could be found?
