Pretty Little Liars Logic Fails: Season 5, Episode 9 — “March of Crimes” (VIDEO)

Pretty Little Liars takes place in a hyper-stylized, crazy world where death is around every corner and teens always dress like New York fashion models. No one has ever called Rosewood the real world, and we wouldn't have it any other way. That said, sometimes the show still makes us stop and say, Hold on a second.

Sometimes it's something in the writing that doesn't make sense, and (more often) it's that we want to reach through our TVs and smack the characters upside the head for making bad choices. Here are the top logic fails and WTF moments that had us scratching our heads during Season 5, Episode 9 (“March of Crimes”).

Noel blasting the recording. Dear Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty): Next time you have an important and incriminating recording you want to keep secret, maybe don't blast it in your car with the windows rolled down. That's what headphones are for!

Aria is Ella's fashion guru. Oh, Ella (Holly Marie Combs). We know you want to be hip and cool, but Aria's (Lucy Hale) fashion choices are so extreme, they sometimes don't even work for a teen girl. As a grown woman, you should probably be taking fashion cues from someone else.

Ali watching the interrogation. Um, why was Alison (Sasha Pieterse) allowed to watch that interrogation? Even presuming she wasn't a lying liar who is lying about the kidnapping, showing her the guy confessing before having her identify him from a lineup or something like this is a surefire way to bias her in favor of picking him. That does not seem like proper police procedure at all.
