Robert Pattinson on Looking For His Niche in 2014 — And Why He Started Moisturizing
Robert Pattinson’s partnership with Dior is more than just acting as the face for the company’s Dior Homme Eau For Men fragrance for the 27-year-old Twilight actor — it’s revolutionized his entire morning routine.
“I was a brush-your-teeth-and-have-a-shower kind of guy,” Rob revealed about life before Dior in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. “I can’t tell if it’s because of my association with Dior or because I’m older, but I’ve started moisturizing. It’s been quite a profound change in my life.”
But although Rob’s gotten a little more sophisticated about his skin, there’s nothing he prefers wearing more than “old Hanes t-shirts.” You can lead a guy to the Dior, but you can’t make him drink. Or something like that.
Something else Dior’s encouraged him to do? Become even more passionate about his work. “This year, I’m trying to see what my niche is,” Rob admitted. “I like trying to do ambitious things. That’s what got me really enthusiastic about the campaign, that [Dior] wasn’t shying away from anything.”
First up in 2014? The David Cronenberg directed Maps to the Stars, which Robert describes as a “darkly comedic Hollywood satire ghost story,” and already has future projects in progress as we speak.
And if Rob was looking for a fresh start, he got one — he recently sold the home he shared with ex-flame Kristen Stewart to Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons. Rob, you know where to send the housewarming invites.
