Lea Michele’s “Louder” Races to Top of Music Charts — U.S. and International!

Now this is definitely news to “scream a little louder” about! Glee’s Lea Michele (Rachel) released her third single, “Louder,” just one day ago, and the song has already shot to the top of the charts, both in the United States and internationally!

“Louder” is the title track off Lea’s debut solo album, which will be released on March 4. The song premiered on January 13, and by the morning of the 14th, it was already #3 on iTunes in the United States.

Lea announced the news on Twitter. “THIS IS AMAZING! LETS GET TO NUMBER 1!!!! #LOUDER” she wrote.

Fans from across the world quickly wrote to share how well “Louder” was doing on the charts in their home countries, and Lea quickly re-tweeted a few.

Jaden Michaels, the artist who co-wrote both “Louder” and Naya Rivera’s (Santana) single, “Sorry,” made a graph of the song’s standing on all the international charts.

As of this morning, “Louder” was number one on the charts for Finland, Sweden, Cyprus, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and Israel. It had the number two spot in Greece, Mexico, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Lebanon, and Turkey. The song was at number three in the U.S., Portugal, Estonia, Slovenia, and Costa Rica. Dang!

For her part, Lea seems pretty stoked about all the success. That afternoon, she tweeted yet another thank you to fans.
