Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Rasheeda Frost is quite possibly one of the most loved musicians on the show. Maybe it’s her moderately passive nature, or her ability to shut things down when she does go overboard that has us over the moon for this lady. Here’s five things you should know about RaSheeda.
1. RaSheeda used to be part of a hip-hop trio
Before RaSheeda became a household name (as well as a notable force to be reckoned with), she did do a little something in the music game. OK, she did alot of something. Sheeda, along with two of her friends, formed a group called Da Kaperz, which signed with D-Lo Entertainment. In 2001, Rasheeda went solo and her album, Dirty South, gained some notoriety in part to her awesome talent and collaborations with rappers like Thugz Nation and Nelly.
Since then, Rasheeda has continued to rap and has even been featured on songs by crunk R&B artist Nivea, and even Kelly Rowland!
2. RaSheeda is the definition of an entrepreneur
In addition to her musical endeavors, Sheeda also has an eye for business and is the owner of her accessory and apparel line, “I’m Bossy.” There, you can find some of the hottest pieces of jewelry and fashion that are dominating the scene in Atlanta and across the country.
3. Rasheeda actually went to school for criminal justice!
So not only is RaSheeda musically talented, she’s also pretty darn smart! The Georgia Peach revealed to the VH1 blog The Scoop that she attended college and majored in criminal justice!
“If I weren’t on TV, I’d be a crime scene investigator,” Rasheeda admitted. Beauty and brains? We’re in love.
4. RaSheeda is still with her husband Kirk Frost
Despite all the drama that Kirk put RaSheeda through on the last season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (what with cheating on his wife and all), Sheeda is still fighting for her marriage. Though the mom of two has admitted that she did consult a lawyer after the incident, she maintains that she and Kirk are still working on things. As a matter of fact, just recently that they “just take it one day at a time,” and are currently “continuing to grow our friendship and to try to get back in a place.”
5. RaSheeda and her best friend Kandi Burruss are making music together!
We all know that RaSheeda and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss are besties, but turns out the ladies are making sweet Southern music together. That’s right, the ladies are actually part of hip-hop/R&B duo called Peach Candy and have released singles called “Rain At Home” featuring fellow Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Lil Scrappy and “Wish I Never” with crunk rapper Yung Joc.
Rumor has it that there are going to be some changes on LHHATL Season 3, but we’re definitely hoping that RaSheeda (and Kirk) are here to stay!
