Love & Hip Hop Season 4 premiered with a bang, and Episode 2: “Stray Bullet” continued the momentum. In this episode, we were introduced to newcomers Nya Lee, Erica Jean, and Saigon, and we weren’t short on the drama.
So, what were our WTF moments this week? Check them out below!
1. Peter Gunz’s outburst to Amina’s reveal
At the end of the Season 4 premiere, audiences learned that addition Peter Gunz was not just sleeping with his artist Amina, but was actually married to her, despite being in a 13-year relationship with his girlfriend, Tara Wallace. When Amina made the big reveal to Rich, Peter was not in the least happy. As a matter of fact, Petey Gunz scrutinized his wife for letting the cat out of the bag!
2. Nya Lee and Rich Dollaz go Toe-to-Toe
Our introduction to new cast member Nya Lee didn't necessarily go off without a hitch. After hearing about Nya’s talent, Rich Dollaz decided to meet with the rapper on the set of her music video shoot. After Nya told Rich that she was not a fan of his affinity for mixing business with pleasure, and was not interested in doing any kind of business with him. Rich took the rapper’s words as a personal attack on his business savvy and the two got into nasty war of words.
3. K. Michelle’s Not Impressed By New York Guys
Upon arriving to New York, K. Michelle met with LHH vet Yandy Smith, who in turn decided that she would throw a party in honor of Kay-Kay and help her get into the New York state of mind. During the girls night out with fellow LHH castmates Tahiry, Tara, and Yandy, K. Michelle was approached by a “real” NY man. Clearly not impressed, Kay decided to show him some of the slick southern charm she is known for in Atlanta, which includes a slick mouth and quick comebacks. And when this “real man” decided to show off the money he was making, Kay-Kay doubled back and flashed her wad of cash at the guy, too! Get ‘em, Kay!
4. Saigon’s Paternity Proposal
We were finally introduced to the last of the newcomers, Erica Jean and Saigon, in this episode and we learned how these two “friends” decided to have a baby together and then ultimately fell apart during the pregnancy. After Saigon approached Erica about the possibility of working on a relationship with each other and becoming a family, Peter Gunz advised Saigon to ask for a paternity test from Erica on the basis of their rocky past relationship. When Saigon brought up the conversation with Erica, she was not pleased and we could already see the beginning of the end for these two.
