Time to pop a bottle of Moët, Lil Scrappy fans! The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star announced on November 1 via Twitter that he penned a new deal with a major record label.
The “Prince of the South” took to Instagram to document the momentous occasion of signing his brand new contracts.
“Good am God is great I'm at u just signed a new deal with a major label #scrappymusic back at u lol ur hate couldn't stop me #Godgotme,” he captioned the photo. After teasing fans for a couple of hours, Lil Scrappy finally revealed that he is now a part of the Sony music family!
The Atlanta rapper is known for such crunk hits as “Money in the Bank,” and “Oh Yeah (Work).” These days he’s less known for his rapping skills, and is more famous for his relationship with baby mama/ former fianceé Erica Dixon playing out on VH1.
Looks like Scrappy is getting back in the music game and we can’t wait for the rapper to drop a new record. Who knows, maybe his new girlfriend, former Basketball Wives LA star Bambi, will drop a couple bars with him too!
