After tons of back and forth on whether or not Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame would be joining the cast of
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta with fiance Tammy Rivera (who is set to make her appearance on the upcoming third season), the Georgia native says he’s officially signed on!
In a recent interview with radio station WKYS in Washington, D.C., Waka finally confessed that he was joining the franchise after much coaxing from his lady love.
“Yeah, I’m on it. My fiance, she on it, so you know I’m backing her up 110 percent. She like, ‘Baby, you gotta do it.’ I’m on there… but I’m not doing it by myself,” he gabbed.
When Waka was asked whether he was worried that the reality show might skew people’s perceptions of him, he said, “They know not to play with me… The cameras can’t make me say nothing I don’t mean so I’m not worried about it.”
In addition to talking about his newest stint on LHHATL, Waka also talked about his upcoming wedding to Tammy, saying he never thought he’d get married because he’s a “scumbag,” but “I guess it always takes one person to change your opinion and your mind on things and I met my one person.”
