When fans tuned into the dramatic conclusion of the Love & Hip Hop Season 4 reunion special this past Monday, we learned that Saigon and his baby mama, Erica Jean, had fallen out since the show ended filming. The couple were no longer living together, and on stage, Saigon berated Erica by telling her to “shut up,” and calling her a fraud. After the outburst, fans stormed his Twitter wall with tons of criticism, but Saigon responded that since the taping of the reunion (back in December), he and Erica Jean have sought out the help of OWN’s Iyanla Vanzant to fix their lives.
“Yall know I couldn't let the story end like THAT... Check out BOTH SIDES of the story on Iyanla Fix My Life... This show isn't about yelling and screaming. Its about THE FACTS....” Saigon captioned a photo of himself hugging Iyanla on February 11.
Of course, fans were still displeased with the way he treated Erica, and so he took to Twitter to let them all know that they’re actually in a better place.
“I JUST HAD A HEART TO HEART WITH THE MOTHER OF MY SON... FELT GOOD. WE ARE LEARNING EACH OTHER IN THE WEIRDEST POSSIBLE WAY EVER, BUT HEY..” he tweeted.
The next day, the Brooklyn born rapper tweeted “Erica and I will probably never be together cause were BOTH Cancers & were BOTH Crazy. But were stuck with each other so we'll figure it out.”
It’s good to hear that Saigon and Erica Jean are trying to work things out and that we’ll hopefully see a more calmer resolution on OWN’s Iyanla: Fix My Life when the show returns in the spring.
