Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Stevie J.’s custody case is starting to really heat up and now, with the hit VH1 reality TV show’s executive producer apparently getting dragged into the mess. And guys, it doesn’t sound too good for Mona Scott Young either…

As you know, Stevie J. was arrested last Monday (June 9) in Atlanta on charges stemming from over $1 million in unpaid child support for two of his children. Stevie was released on a $25,000 bond on Wednesday and ordered to appear in a New York district court to dispute the claims.

So how does Mona figure into this equation?

According to The Urban Daily, when Project Child Support (an organization that helps mothers retrieve back child support) subpoenaed Stevie’s cast and Mona to determine his finances, the organization was met with a response from Mona’s production company, Monami Entertainment, stating that Stevie hadn’t ever worked for them or Mona. This alleged statement apparently conflicts with reports that Mona bailed Stevie out of jail!

The Founder of Project Child Support is calling Mona a liar, saying, “I don’t understand how an Executive Producer of a hit television reality series does not enter into any agreements with the cast or any organizations contracted with the cast of a television production. This is a felony child support evasion case, and helping someone commit a felony crime is a felony crime. We are going to cooperate with the federal agencies investigating this case and provide them with copies of all documents we received that are related to this case, including Mona Scott’s court ordered subpoena response.”

Does that mean that Mona can get into big trouble if she didn’t tell the truth? Guess we’ll have to wait for the aftermath of the case to find out!

Stevie, on the other hand, maintains that he owes nothing close to $1 million dollars in back child support, despite New York State’s warning to the reality star to pay up or face seizure of his property.
