Tammy Rivera and fiancé Waka Flocka Flame decided to go the courthouse route with their wedding on last week’s episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 (“Round and Round We Go”). When the couple broke the news to their parents, the moms weren’t thrilled, but were happy for the couple more or less. One person we didn’t see react to the new was Tammy’s 8-year-old daughter, Charlie, who was super excited to wear a Disney-inspired gown on her mom’s big day. So how did Charlie take the news?
In this never-before-seen clip, Tammy breaks the news to Charlie that she and Waka eloped, and after explaining what “eloped” means to her daughter, she tells the kiddo that they wanted to get married without a bunch of people around.
“I’m not a ‘whole bunch of people,’ I’m just one kid!” 8-year-old Charlie tells her mom. Waka and Tammy agree with Charlie, but tell her they eloped out of love. Tammy then tells her daughter to keep the news a secret, since haven’t yet told her grandmother and Waka’s mom, Deb Antney. Charlie promises to keep quiet, saying, “I don’t like spilling the beans,” and goes her merry way rollerblading in the park.
It’s great to see Charlie isn’t too upset about her mom and Waka making it official without her getting to wear a princess dress for the occasion. However, since the couple do intend on having a service and celebration in the near future, hopefully she’ll be able to dazzle us with her fashion sense then.
