Luann de Lesseps Charged With a Felony Following Arrest

Luann de Lesseps has been officially charged following her arrest over the holidays.
The Real Housewives of New York City star has been charged with a felony count of resisting an officer, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication, according to TMZ.
In fact, she faces up to five years in prison!

Luann de Lesseps is back home following her rehab stint.
The Real Housewives of New York star was arrested on Christmas Eve for battery and intoxication.
“It’s good to be home. I’m doing great,” the reality star tweeted on Tuesday, January 23.

The mother of two apologized for her drunken behavior on Christmas Day and blamed the incident on the end of her marriage to Tom D'Agostino Jr.
“I want to offer my most sincere apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior,” she said in a statement.
“This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions.”
She continued, “I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.”
Following the arrest, Luann decided to check into a rehab facility to get a handle on her issues.
“After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed,” she shared in another statement.
“I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center.”
She continued, “I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event.”
The 52-year-old married Tom on New Year’s Eve 2016, but the pair announced their separation just 7 months later.
